About Your Guide

Hi! I’m Lamia,

For me, dance has never been only about movement.

It has always been a way to return to the body -
to transform discipline into devotion,
and to inhabit movement with presence, confidence and freedom.

After years of study in Bharatanatyam, Fusion Bellydance and yoga, I began developing what is now the D.E.V.I. Method™:
an approach that blends embodied technique, Indian movement foundations, artistic expression and sustainable practice.

Because I believe dancers do not need more disconnected content.

They need a practice that helps them feel:
- grounded in their body
- fluid in their movement
- confident in their expression
- connected to the deeper meaning behind dance

For over 20 years, I’ve guided dancers around the world through this work -
helping them move beyond simply “learning steps”
and begin truly inhabiting their dance.
